Grateful Danes<\/strong> began in 2002 when they started working at a boarding facility\u00a0in high school owned\u00a0by Pat Ciampa of Maitau Great Danes. \u00a0While working for Pat, they fell in love with the temperaments and beauty of her Danes, and it soon became their\u00a0dream to own one of these magnificent animals. \u00a0After\u00a0the pairing of two of their favorite dogs, they had to have one.\u00a0 Pat\u00a0(along with Helen and Tiffany Cross) allowed them to get their heart dog, Drake (Ch Maitau’s Grateful Dane, CGC).\u00a0They continued to work for Pat for 5\u00a0years and gained invaluable mentoring from her.<\/p>\n

Grateful Danes are a member of the Great Dane Club of Greater Denver, having served as President, Vice President, Co-Treasurer and board member.\u00a0 They are also a member of the Great Dane Club of America, and the veterinary emergency and critical care society.\u00a0 They are a Certified Veterinary Technician and offer handling.<\/p>\n
