In 1979 Primus Great Danes bought their first Great Dane. A fawn bitch, sired by Champion Enydelet Super Cool. Although not show quality, she had an outstanding temperament, and so the love affair with this fantastic breed began.
A couple of years later Primus Great Danes added a blue dog (Binoca Moonlighting), to their family, followed by two blue bitches and a black bitch from the Binoca Kennels, which were introduced to the world of dog shows…..lives changed forever!!
In the 1980’s Kenour Lady of Primus, the first FAWN brood bitch, came to their kennels, bred from the famous Dicarl lines, she is featured in the pedigrees of the majority of Primus Great Danes’ fawns.
So, here they are, over thirty years later, having selectively bred and shown their bloodlines over the years. keeping type and temperament utmost in their lines. Their dogs have produced Champions and top award-winning Danes. Primus Great Danes are members of most of the Great Dane Clubs in the U.K.
