In 1996 Moon River Great Danes got a Great Dane, a companion Harl bitch named Pearl. Pearl needed a companion and this led them to join the local Dane Club. They bought their first line bred show dog and first Champion from Calico Rock. In 2006 they bred their first litter, and used the Kennel name MoonRiver. They are now an AKC judge approved for Great Danes and Juniors. They have similar tastes and an “eye” for the same type of Dane. They strive to breed Beautiful Danes to the Great Dane Standard, to health test all dogs that they own, and to provide loving, stable homes for their puppies.
