Mesaba Great Danes

In 1976, Mesaba Great Danes began their involvement with the wonderful Great Dane breed. Their first Dane was a black male, Dunkirk’s Patrick Henry CDX. They have been actively involved with this beautiful breed ever since & have had the privilege of living with blacks, brindles, fawns and a harlequin. Starting in 1980, they began an affiliation with Glorilane Great Danes. Their Danes are family members first and show and performance competitors second. They strive to breed healthy, well-adjusted Danes that meet the Great Dane Club of America’s breed standard. They believe in using available health screening tests for hip dysplasia, heart problems and eye problems. They do this to ensure their puppy buyers, to the best of their ability, that they have done everything possible to produce healthy Great Danes. They are members of the Great Dane Club of America, the Duluth Kennel Club and a lifetime member of the Heart of Minnesota Great Dane Club.
