Divine Acres Great Danes have 40 acres of beautiful rolling hills located in central Wisconsin.
They are members of the Great Dane Club of America and the Great Dane Club of Milwaukee. They are proud to be a Breeder of Merit from the AKC. Divine Acres Great Danes are active in the breed ring promoting the breed we love, always owner handled.
They bought their first Dane back in 1979, unfortunately, lost her to bloat in 1981. They owned a couple of different breeds of dogs in between but had to go back to the breed they loved the best. They bought their first show Dane in 1994 from Highland Acres, Bruce, and Karen McCallum. Bruce handled Highlands Shelby Girl aka: Shelby to 8 AKC points. Trying to capture those elusive majors to finish her AKC Championship proved to be unattainable. They bred Shelby and thus started their breeding program. Shelby is in the lineage of every Dane Divine Acres Great Danes own. Though she is no longer alive, her legacy lives on.
